NWOSU Students Volunteer at SMC
NWOSU students, Dylan, Hannah, and Brennen, assisted Share Medical Center with landscaping last week as part of their Ranger Connection class at NWOSU. Students are required to perform community service as a requirement for this class. The three NWOSU students cleaned the flower beds and planted bushes at the Share Medical Center sign near highway 281 south as part of the SMC volunteer beautification effort.
"The students were a great help to SMC. We have wanted to landscape around the sign for a long but have not had the staff or time to start the project.
We appreciate the time and effort these students took to help with the project," said Janet Valencia, volunteer coordinator.
The Nandina and Abelia Kaleidoscope bushes were purchased locally with funds raised by volunteers at SMC.
